GA GAPNA update

Hello everyone. I wanted to touch base with all of our members. Last year we unanimously voted to support the GA POLST collaborative with a donation in the amount of $500. The board met 2 weeks ago and discussed what we could do this year to show our support again. The bronze level donation of $500 for their conference on May 8th would allow us to have 2 representatives from our organization exhibit and recognition for our organization as a supporter in all printed materials and signage. GA GAPNA continues to be one of the leading organizations furthering the cause of excellence in geriatric care. The board feels strongly that supporting these efforts are in alignment with our mission and values. While we do not have an opportunity to vote as a group prior to the conference, we wanted to let all members have a chance to voice opinions. If I do not hear from anyone by 5pm on April 22nd, we will proceed with exhibiting at the conference.
