**Important Update: GA GAPNA 2020 Conference CANCELLED**

Posted about 4 years ago by Brette Svensson

To the GA GAPNA community:

The Georgia Chapter of Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) has made the difficult decision to cancel our annual continuing education conference which was due to be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. This decision was made due to growing public health concerns surrounding COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus. GA GAPNA has been assessing new developments in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Based on the increasing number of COVID-19 cases and CDC recommendations regarding older adults (in addition to those who care for them), GA GAPNA is acting in an abundance of caution and choosing not to proceed with Saturday’s event.
