Our hospitals are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by highly trained critical care teams, providing expert care in areas such as intensive care, trauma, neurology, cardiology, and respiratory support. With Wellstar’s comprehensive network, patients have access to top-tier care, wherever they are in Georgia.

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking an experienced PRN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a busy critical care medicine group. Shift options are 6a-4p, 10a-8p, or night shift 8p-6a. There is a minimum one shift commitment over a twelve-week period.

The APP will work primarily with our critical care medicine team at Kennestone Medical Center, but could also cover Cobb, Douglas, and Paulding Medical Centers as needed.

In this role, you will collaborate with other health care providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to the patient and family. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: obtaining and writing H&Ps, daily progress notes and discharge summaries, performing physical assessments, reading and interpreting imaging, diagnosing and developing a plan of care, writing orders, performing procedures including central lines and arterial lines, and communicating with patients and their families.

Georgia licensed APP, ACNP or PA required.
