Position Description

Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED 1. Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. 2. Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program. 3. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants 4. Current BLS certification.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. Two to five years of experience with a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment and patient education were the main focus of the role
